Lost Planet 3

Lost Planet 3 is a third-person shooter video game developed by Spark Unlimited and published by Capcom for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game is the prequel to Lost Planet: Extreme Condition and Lost Planet 2 and takes place on the same planet of E.D.N. III.

The game takes place long before the events of the first game, and hence the planet of E.D.N. III is still in an ice-age like environment rather than the tropical environment of the second game that occurs after the events of the first game. It takes place during the time of the first few human colonists on E.D.N. III sent there by the Neo-Venus Construction company or NEVEC, who later become the main antagonists for the series. The game follows the story of Jim Peyton, a colonist who is working for NEVEC and helping mine the planet and sending minerals back to Earth, where his family awaits him. The game, however, doesn't feature militarized VS bipedal mechs like previous entries in the series, and instead features mechs called Rigs that are the predecessors of VS mechs, given the timeline of the game. Unlike VS mechs, Rigs aren't militarized with weapons and instead are equipped with drill arms and claw arms for mining.

Improve Dial Up Modem Performance

You can't assume that just because you connected at a speed like 48.3KBps that you will stay there. Today's modems automatically fall back to a lower speed if the line noise is too high to maintain a faster connection, but sometimes they fall back too soon or too far.

Dial Up Screen

Here's how to do it:
  1. Click Start the button.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click Control Panel.
  4. Double-click on the Modems icon.
  5. Select your modem.
  6. Click the Properties button.
  7. Click the Connections tab.
  8. Click the Advanced button.
  9. In the "Extra settings" field, type S36=7
  10. Click OK to save your settings.

This will force your modem to try to stay connected at high speeds in two different ways before dropping back to an asynchronous mode with auto speed buffering.

Restrict User Logon Hours

>>To restrict a users logon hours , use the net user command. These commands are used from the Command Prompt. (Start - RUN - and type cmd)

Below are some examples:

1 - net user Manish /time:M-F,08:00-17:00

2 - net user Mohit /time:M-F,8am-5pm

3 - net user Jaikishan /time:M,4am-5pm;T,1pm-3pm;W-F,8:00-17:00

4 - net user Ishwar /time:all (this one means this user can always log on)

Note: You can only restrict when a user can log on to the system. On a stand alone computer, there is no way to force a user to log off when their hours expire, without a third party script or software.

Crack BIOS Password

Basic BIOS password crack - works 9.9 times out of ten

This is a password hack but it clears the BIOS such that the next time you start the PC, the CMOS does not ask for any password. Now if you are able to bring the DOS prompt up, then you will be able to change the BIOS setting to the default. To clear the CMOS do the following:

BIOS

Get DOS prompt and type:

DEBUG hit enter
-o 70 2e hit enter
-o 71 ff hit enter
-q hit enter
exit hit enter

Restart the computer. It works on most versions of the AWARD BIOS
